Dr. Jin Li is the subject leader and director of the Department of Gastroenterology. Dr. Jin Li specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of intestinal diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, functional bowel disease, autoimmune bowel disease, ischemic bowel disease, intestinal tumors, etc. Her main scientific research interests include intestinal mucosal immunoprotection and intestinal microecology. Dr. Jin Li also focuses on the comprehensive management of functional bowel diseases, including chronic constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, functional abdominal pain, functional diarrhea, functional bloating, etc. Dr. Jin Li has established a standardized chronic disease management system that integrates diagnosis, assessment, drug therapy, biofeedback therapy, psychosomatic interventions, and follow-up. She has presided over 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and 4 provincial and ministerial projects. She has published over 120 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and a number of book chapters.
