Dr. Wei Zuo is a chief physician and the Deputy Director of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.
She serves as a standing committee member of the Ophthalmology and Systemic Disease Specialty Committee of the Guangdong Eye Health Association, the Ophthalmology Specialty Committee of the Shenzhen Medical Association, and also a member of the Ophthalmology Physicians Association of Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Optics Society, and an expert in the Shenzhen Visual Impairment Identification Group and the Guangdong and Shenzhen Work Injury Identification Group. In addition, she is the leader of the myopia prevention and screening in Futian District, a lecturer for the Shenzhen Health Education Popular Science Expert Team, and has been awarded the title of "Lingnan Famous Doctor".
She has extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and treating common and complex eye diseases, especially in managing retinal diseases, glaucoma, strabismus and amblyopia, ocular surface diseases, and ocular diseases related to ?systemic diseases.
