Dr. Weidong Han is a Chief Physician and the Director of the Pain Department. He graduated from Sun Yat-sen Medical University, with over 20 years of experience in clinical spine surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain. His research primarily focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of various acute and chronic pains. He is skilled in minimally invasive treatments, including cervical disc low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation, endoscopic lumbar discectomy, musculoskeletal soft tissue pain management, joint pain relief, spinal cord electrical stimulation for intractable pain, and intrathecal morphine pump implantation. In 2016, he participated in a clinical training course at Harvard Medical School in the United States and visited the school for further studies. He has published one SCI-indexed article and over ten core articles in orthopedic academic journals both domestically and internationally, and has contributed to works such as "Modern Bone Transplantation," "Clinical Orthopedics Handbook," "New Treatment Methods for Degenerative Disc Diseases," and "Treatment of Pain."
